Fishing in the water park and surrounding areas

Your best fishing holiday ever has just got closer ! We are based in the heart of Cotswold Water Park and your favourite pastime of fishing in the Cotswolds is literally just a step or two away!

Cotswold Water Park, home to over 140 lakes, many of which provide for an excellent fishing holiday. From expert to novice fisherman there is something for everyone to enjoy in stunning natural surroundings. Something like 70 of the lakes support fishing and range from course to fly. In addition, the Thames, starting 180 mile journey from Kemble has many stretches available to fish.

Our homes are on estates overlooking lakes.  Windrush estate contains 3 lakes which are free to fish.  The house overlooks Windrush lake which has carp, so you have fishing literally on your doorstep.  The lakes are regularly stocked and the other 2 lakes contain grass carp, trout and are for fly fishing.

Watersedge is one large lake; again the houses overlook the lake and you can either fish from the decking or from the lakeside.  It contains tench amongst other fish

In addition,  there are also a number of specialist fishing lakes close by if you wish to challenge yourself more for which day tickets are available. The following are all within 5 – 10 minutes of our home:
