Our Story: From Derelict to Dream

Cotswold Glamping began as a dream shared by Jason and Heidi Sear. When they discovered a long-forgotten 1960s caravan site tucked away in Upper Minety, they saw past the dereliction and overgrowth — and imagined something better.

With a background in construction and a passion for nature, Jason designed and built each pod by hand, turning the site into a peaceful, eco-conscious retreat. What once was forgotten is now a place to remember.

The Setting: Nature, Peace and Stars

Tucked into the edge of woodland in the tranquil village of Upper Minety, our site is surrounded by birdsong, open skies, and very little else. It’s a haven for wildlife and stargazers alike — thanks to minimal light pollution, the night skies here are breathtaking.

Whether you’re seeking solitude or space to reconnect, this is a true escape into nature, without sacrificing comfort.

Your Stay: Hot Tubs, Lodges and Little Touches

Each of our four pods — Foxes Den, Squirrels Drey, Badgers Sett, and the soon-to-arrive Rabbits Warren — offers a cosy, individually styled space inspired by local wildlife and designed for comfort.

Every pod includes:

• A private hot tub under the stars
• Hotel-quality bedding and towels
• Heating, electricity, and WiFi

Shared Spaces: Gather, Cook and Toast Marshmallows

Alongside the private pods, we’ve created a welcoming communal area for moments shared. There’s a wood-fired pizza oven, a large fire pit, and space to sit, chat, and soak in the atmosphere — with friends, family, or fellow guests.
