Goose Landing

The beautifully named Goose Landing is a new addition to the Cotswold Water Park Retreats portfolio and is located on the opposite side of the lake from the entrance. This part of the lake is much more secluded and tranquil and has a stunning view up the whole length of the lake with nobody overlooking the house or decking.

Full Description

Waters Edge lake is a stunning collection of contemporary styled, luxury holiday homes in the Cotswold Water Park. These architecturally inspired, lakeside holiday homes have stunning views over the 28-acre lake and each property benefits from a large decking area which gives you the illusion of being suspended over the water’s edge. Waters Edge is ideally situated in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, England’s largest wetlands nature reserve, only 5 miles from Cirencester and just 90 minutes from London.

Each property is extremely well equipped and furnished to a high standard. The spacious living/kitchen/dining areas makes the property an excellent option for group holiday bookings, family gatherings or simply a short break with friends. Each bedroom is of a large size with luxurious en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom also benefits from a private lakeside balcony with seating.

Waters Edge is within walking distance to the picturesque village of South Cerney and Cerney Wick, home to some fabulous country pubs, local amenities and country charm. Enjoy water sports, fishing, walking and nature trails throughout the immediate area, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the hot tub whilst enjoying the view over the lake.

Beauty and Holistic Therapies We have a long association with Beth at Beauty and Holistic therapies, mostly because Jo tends to make use of her services on a regular basis, ensuring that the appropriate standards are maintained for guests (she says!). After a near 10 year association we can certainly recommend Beth. The difference with Beth is that she will visit our homes and provide the treatment in the lodges – great for a girls weekend! Speak to her about packages – they do a whole range from groups to singles to couples and have always provided a first class service to our previous guests. Check out her contact form here or email her directly at [email protected]. You can contact Beth directly and make a booking for your lodge or alternatively, speak to us and we’ll sort it for you!

Wickwater Woods

Wickwater Woods Wickwater woods is located on Wickwater lane and is a 3 acre secure area with a 6 foot fence running around the boundary. This is a great place to let your dogs off the lead to run around and is just a short (walking) distance from our lodges on Waters Edge. You need to book in advance to make sure that you are able to get the slot you need – check their website for details and how to book

House Rules

We try to flexible and not to put too many constraints on our guests but we are also committed to looking after our homes.

We welcome up to 2 pets in Goose Landing but talk to us about your plans. Always let us know if you plan to bring pets (there is a small charge per pet) as we need to factor it into our cleans. We do not allow pets into the bedrooms and particularly onto beds. We recognise that keeping pets off the furniture is a challenge so you will find throws available to use please

No parties, hen nights or stag nights – this really isn’t the place for loud parties as many of the homes on this lake are occupied by year round residents. Unfortunately due to a number of past experiences we do not allow all male occupancy of our homes. Sorry guys!

And that’s really it – tell us about breakages so that we can replace where necessary. Larger damage and specialist cleaning we will need to discuss with you if necessary.

We just ask that you treat our home with respect and that you consider our neighbours when you are on the decking in particular as sound does travel a lot further over water.

A wonderful and cozy place, a nice spacious house and a view of the lake from the hot tub and the upper balcony - something wonderful. easy operation of the heating system and the entire house in general. A large number of kitchen items and, above all, board games which I did not expect there.

Stayed for my birthday weekend with family and friends and my dog. Great location with beautiful surroundings. House was perfect for what we wanted and a lovely chocolate cake awaited. We enjoyed the games provided to.
I would certainly recommend this property and may return in the future.

Amazing house! Lovely weekend stay for 5 uni friends. Lots of do but as it was winter time we took advantage of the hot tub and chilled out inside. Lovely walk on the Saturday with a lovely local pub close by.
The lake is gated and has residence on as well as rentals.
Would 100% come back.
